LIVESTREAM!
Studio/House Concert Series
This Sunday! Oct. 17th, 7:30pm PST
Gaining steam, We have a full concert to share with you all!
We will have a collection of Silvio Natali artwork; Matthew Marsolek musical contributions with percussion and guitar, as well deep diving into some brainy rhythm morsels; and Alex Wurman’s reworking of a favorite score melody, along with his piano improvisation that will add a pause and a deep breath for your week ahead.
During the long year+ of Covid isolation, Alex dove into nightly piano improv lifestreams as a way of providing relaxation, connection and routine for his Facebook friends. It proved to be a great way to keep the community connected. Alex’s calming and even ‘spiritual’ blend of musical improvisations proved to be a nice way to stay connected with like-minded community. It’s also a wonderful way to hear contributions and collaborations with a variety of artists including everyone from painters to percussionists!
The original nightly concerts are still on his Facebook page: Alex Wurman Music.
And, there are new exciting evolutions to come!

Hans Wurman 1967 with the Moog Modular System
Alex crediting his talents to the result of both nature and nurture, Wurman hails from a musical family with generations devoted to the study and performance of music. Alex’s father, Hans Wurman was an arranger and composer who was among the pioneers in the world of electronic music by recording intricate works on the Moog Modular System.
“We are witnessing the birth of the new instrument – awesome
to contemplate. The Piano, with all the inspiration it provided for composers in the 100 years after its invention, is so limited compared to the Synthesizer that one cannot even hazard a guess as to what effect the latter will have on the course of composition and performance in years to come.”

If you are unable to make the events, but would like to contribute to the Bob Moog Foundation so that we are able to continue our work, please donate here.
The Bob Moog Foundation will be posting links to the Facebook Event pages for each event a week before the scheduled event.
